We’re going to use our highly sought-after Weller 107 Barrell as an opportunity to raise money for The Make a Wish Foundation by raffling off 24 bottles with 100% of the raffle proceeds being donated.

What are we raffling?
Each winner will receive the right to purchase one bottle. There are 24 bottles available, so we will have 24 winners, shared between BSM and BSB.

How does this work?
Customers must obtain tickets in person at either Bow Street Beverage or Bow Street Market. One $5 donation = 1 ticket. Customers may purchase as many donations as they’d like, for example, a $20 donation will give the contestant 4 tickets, and 4 chances to win. 100% of proceeds will go to Make a Wish
Is there a limit to the number of times someone can enter?
No. They can purchase as many tickets as they’d like per visit, make as many visits as they’d like.
How / when will the winners be notified?
The winners will be notified by email within five days of the raffle’s completion.
What is The Make a Wish Foundation?
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a 501 nonprofit organization founded in the United States that helps fulfill the wishes of children with a critical illness between the ages of 2½ and 18 years old. Make-A-Wish was founded and is headquartered in Phoenix.

RAFFLE RULES AND REGULATIONS This Raffle (“Raffle”) is being conducted by Bow Street Beverage and/or Bow Street Market (“Bow Street”), The Raffle is being conducted to raise funds for ongoing charitable purposes. The Raffle Rules and Regulations (the “Official Rules”) are set forth below. By contributing a $5 donation to the charity designated by Bow Street each donor will receive 1 raffle ticket (a “ticket”). The donor acknowledges that they are aware of, and agrees to be bound by, these Official Rules and Bow Street’s interpretation of any such Official Rules. Bow Street shall be responsible for interpreting and applying the Official Rules. Bow Street’s interpretation and application of such rules shall be final.
This raffle (“raffle”) provides for the opportunity for the retail sale of one bottle of Weller 107 Bow Street Beverage Barrel Pick.
The winner(s) of the raffle win the opportunity to purchase a bottle of Weller 107 Bow Street Beverage Barrel Pick.
Eligibility: The raffle is open only to Maine residents, who are at least 21 years of age at the time of entry, who hold a valid Maine Driver’s License or Maine State issued ID, or an official identification card issued by a federally recognized Indian tribe in the State of Maine, which demonstrates Maine residency, all of which bear the participant’s photograph, signature, name, date of birth and expiration date (“Valid Identification. Maine residents will be limited to winning the opportunity to purchase one (1) bottle of the product listed . Bow Street’s employees and their respective spouses or domestic partners and children living in the same household are excluded from participating in the Raffle and are ineligible to win a prize. The raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited.
Raffle Period: Saturday, April 16th upon business opening until Sunday, May 1st upon business closing
Method of Entry: There is only one method of entry for participating in this raffle. In order to submit an entry, you must donate $5 to the charity designated by Bow Street during the applicable entry period . Entries must be submitted in person at Bow Street. You must provide a valid email address and it is strongly recommended that you take all necessary steps to ensure that emails sent by Bow Street can be received. Each $5 donation will yield one raffle ticket. There is no limit to the number of donations that can be made or the number of raffle tickets that can be received . 100% of ticket proceeds will go to designated charity.
By submitting an entry for any product in this raffle, you are conveying your intent to purchase the item at Bow Street at the current retail price and to pay applicable taxes and bottle deposit on that item.
Prizes: The approximate retail value of any prize is $0. The prize is the opportunity to purchase a bottle at the current retail price of $49.99.
You are not guaranteed to win a prize and your chance of winning is dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received. No cash or other prize substitution is permitted. The prize is non transferable. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state and local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. Acceptance of prize by the purchase of product under these guidelines constitutes permission for Bow Street to use the winner’s name, likeness and entry for advertising and trade purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner Selection and Notification: A random drawing process will be utilized to select the winning entries. Entrants need not be present to win. Winners will be selected at random. Winners will be notified according to the contact email provided to Bow Street at the time Ticket is issued. If a selected winner is unable to be contacted or located after a period of Two Weeks (2) from the draw date of the applicable raffle drawing, the prize or its cash equivalent will be deemed to have been donated to Bow Street. Winners will be notified via email to the email address provided upon entry submission, within five (5) business days of the drawing. The winner must respond pursuant to instructions provided in the email within two weeks (2) of the date the notice was sent. Bow Street is not responsible for any issues arising from sent email notifications being blocked, diverted, deleted, or otherwise not received.
Each winner must personally appear at, and present valid identification at Bow Street when purchasing the bottle designated in the winner notification.
A purchase of any product under this raffle is subject to these Guidelines and all applicable Maine statutes, regulations and policies governing the retail sale of spirits. Bow Street has no responsibility or liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to the winner’s spam, junk email or other email security settings or for the winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 30 days from the time after notification, the prize or its cash equivalent will be deemed to have been donated to Bow Street. The receipt by winner of a prize in this raffle is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state regulations. AT BOW STREET’S SOLE DISCRETION, ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL GUIDELINES BY ANY WINNER WILL RESULT IN THE WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS A WINNER SHALL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
Rights Granted: If you win and accept the prize by purchasing the product, you agree that Bow Street will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute and use your entry, including and without limitation, the entry and your name, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the raffle, and biographical information as news, publicity or information, and for trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes without any further compensation. By entering this raffle, you agree to receive email newsletters periodically from Bow Street. You may opt-out of receiving this communication at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter.
Terms: Bow Street reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the raffle should a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the raffle. Bow Street reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the raffle or violates these Guidelines. Bow Street has the right to maintain the integrity of the raffle, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to: entries from individuals not at least 21 years old at the time of entry. Bow Street’s decisions relative to such matters are final and non-appealable. Any attempt by a person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the raffle may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Bow Street reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Non-Deductibility of Ticket Purchase: The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances in raffles, lotteries or similar drawings for valuable prizes are not gifts, and consequently, the purchase of a Ticket does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.
Resale of Product Prohibited: Items offered for sale to individual consumers are not intended for resale. The sale of alcoholic beverages without a license is strictly prohibited under Maine law. Anyone suspected of violating applicable Maine laws governing alcoholic beverages will be reported to the Division of Liquor Licensing and Enforcement. Anyone suspected of engaging in fraudulent or other criminal activity in connection with the raffle or otherwise, will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
Limitation of Liability: By submitting an entry in the raffle, you agree to release and hold harmless the Bow Street and its employees, officers, directors, contracted advertising and promotion agencies and their employees, officers, directors, successors and assigns from any all liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from any circumstance including: (i) your participation in the raffle and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any product purchased or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to, the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or promotion; and (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the raffle or the processing of entries. A RAFFLE ENTRANT’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM AGAINST BOW STREET ARISING OUT OF THE ISSUING OF TICKETS OR THE CONDUCT OF THE RAFFLE SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE RETURN OF THE DONATION PRICE PAID FOR THEIR TICKET(S). IN NO EVENT SHALL BOW STREET, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR REPRESENTATIVES BE LIABLE TO ANY PARTY FOR ANY LOSS OR INJURIES TO EARNINGS, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY PERSON OR ENTITY WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE.
Cancellation/Termination of Raffle: By purchasing a Ticket and choosing to participate in the Raffle, each Raffle participant acknowledges and agrees that BOW STREET has the right, in its sole discretion, to elect not to proceed with the Raffle for any reason whatsoever or for no reason, and in such event, a participant’s sole and exclusive remedy shall be to receive a refund of the full price donated by such participant for each Ticket, without interest.
